Welcome to HI STUDIO. Today, we will make 3D Complex Shapes In Adobe Illustrator. Tools to be used: Circles, Shape Builder Tool, and Blend Tool.

You can make 3D Complex Shapes using the following steps:

l Draw a circle, on which you wanna apply the 3D Complex Effect.

Make its fill to Empty and make its stroke thickness according to your choice (2 points recommended).

Copy the circle and paste it in its place.

Arrange both the circles in such a way that they overlap each other at the center point.

Select both the circles and with the shape builder tool, delete the right complete circle.

Now, a Moon-like shape is created.

Select the Scissors Tool and cut it at the edges.

Select the shape and change its stroke from Uniform to Width Profile 1.

Select the whole shape, and from the Objects Panel < Blend < Make.

Now, select the Objects Panel < Blend < Blend Options.

Select the Spacing to Specified Steps.

Set the steps to 8 (can vary).

Press OK to apply the effect.

Now Copy the blend shape, paste in front and rotate it 90 degrees.

Arrange these shapes in such a way that their boundaries touch with each other.

Now, select the whole shape, copy and paste in front.

Rotate it 90 degrees and arrange it in such a way that it completes the shape.
